Abstract

The article presents the results of the selection of a rational shape of the section of hollow cores for the device of voids in flat monolithic floors, the pitch and consumption of the reinforcement fixing the hollow core of the cages when laying concrete mix is defined. The evaluation of the technical and economic efficiency of the use of hollow cores in monolithic flat slabs shows that it is rational to use expanded polystyrene and cardboard tubes as a material for the manufacture of hollow cores.
