Abstract

The effect of chromium on its distribution in high-chromium iron was studied. With a content of 12% chromium in the alloy, it is mainly found in carbides. As the chromium content in the alloy increased, both in the carbide phase and in the metal base increased, and the Cr / Cr ratio decreased from 6.5 to 4.2. Recommended compositions of cast iron for parts used in abrasive and corrosive wear.
