Abstract

The influence of thermomechanical treatment of wire rod from 30KhGSA grade steel on its qualitative characteristics and manufacturability on a hardware distribution has been investigated. It is shown that in order to ensure a seamless process of drawing the surfacing wire, it is advisable to ensure that the metal is exposed for at least 2 days after acid scaling is removed from the wire rod surface.
