Abstract

The Purpose of this article is the improvement of works the purpose of which is increasing of the energy efficiency of buildings, therefore the surveys are conducted to define the thermal characteristics of constructions and to give the recommendations to  further enhance energy efficiency   of building.  The methodology  that used for the surveys is based on the experience of European specialists, on the analysis of normative documents and laws of our and foreign countries, on the compiling of energy certificates, on the experience of surveys of  buildings, and also on the thermal imaging surveys of buildings  to detect insulation defects for further improvement and to enhance  energy efficiency of building. The result of comprehensive survey  of  constructions with analysis of thermal characteristics  –  is  the recommendations for increasing of energy efficiency.  Along with that,  the construction of building, condition of insulation, heat bridges and areas  of heat losses are  detailed studied. Recommendations are included the list of works to eliminate  the  problems  that  are  associated  with  the  defects.  The  Originality  –  is  the  practical  recommendations  from  our organization,  that  include  methods  of  work,  which  can  facilitate  the  process  of   energy  audit  of  structures  with  use  of  thermal imaging  equipment  and  programs,  further  conclusions  with  recommendations  that  will  improve  the  energy  rate  of  building  or construction.  Also  this  methodical  recommendations  give  a  review  of  modern  energy-saving  technologies  including  the  use  of alternative energy sources. Practical value  of the research has repeatedly confirmed by the on thermal imaging surveys of industrial and  civil  buildings  in  Zaporozhye,  such  as  chimneys,  the  buildings  of  a  refrigerator,  a  range  of  cottages.  If  we  follow  the methodology surveys, we will effectively evaluate the accordance with contemporary standards of energy conservation and will give recommendations for further increasing of energy efficiency of surveyed buildings.
