Abstract

Aim. The purpose of research is the search of new technological methods of increasing mechanical and performance properties of the steel grade 10G2FB for metal structures of responsible appointment. Methods. The structure of the steel samples was studied by qualitative and quantitative light microscopy at microscopes "Epikvant", "Neofot-2". Testing mechanical properties of tensile was carried out according to DSTU EN 10002 1:. 2006, toughness was determined on a U- and V-notch samples for State Standard EN 10045-1:. 2006 Effect of temperature at the end of deformation of the roughing stand on complex mechanical properties has been studied based on the analysis of over five hundred steel rollings of 10G2FB grade factory to assess the effect of the deformation modes in the roughing stand plate mill 3000 on the structure and properties. Sheet steel of 10G2FB grade was rolled in pilot batches of  slabs  with  the  increased  number  of  passes  in  a  black  cage,  while  maintaining  the  total  deformation  of  the  metal. Results. Temperature-deformation  of  hot  deformation  mode  of  thick  low-carbon  micro-alloyed  rolled  products  was  developed,  which  is characterized by an increased number of passes in the roughing stand that stabilizes substructure of the austenite and ferrite grain refinement contributes to the finished sheet. Scientific novelty. It was shown that the increase in the cycle of rolling plate mill roughing stand combined with rapid water-cooled rolls leads to the stabilization of hot-subgrain structure of austenite, reduces the spread of mechanical performance and service properties of sheet metal, and destroys the ferrite-pearlite banding. Practical value. It improves both the strength and plastic properties of the metal for building structures.
