Abstract

Abstract. Statement of the problem. To characterize the changes of water flow in rivers, the ecological status of water systems under  the  influence  of  flow  regulation  by  reservoirs and  comprehensive  water  management. Goal. Evidence-based  use  and  flow regulation with the needs of aquatic and riparian ecological systems allows to create optimal conditions for their operation without compromising economic use of water resources. Conclusions. First of all, it should be noted that water availability is currently in need of active actions for the construction and repair of hydraulic structures, protection of water objects, strengthening coastlines, conducting complex environmental events. It is necessary to further support the activities of major water users on the reconstruction and construction of treatment facilities and systems oppv, as it will not only make our water bodies cleaner, but also will serve as a stimulus to modernize the industry and enhance the process of import substitution.
