Goal. Improvement of current legal acts on planning and organization of evacuation in emergency situations.Method. Theoretical methods of research. Results. In the course of theoretical analysis, ways of settling the principles of planning and organizing the evacuation of the population in emergencies are proposed; emphasized the need to specify more specifically the evacuation authorities, functions and responsibilities of the temporary evacuation bodies.Practical significance. The work will contribute to solving methodological, methodological, and organizationalpractical tasks related to the planning and organization of evacuation of the population in emergency situations.
