How to reduce the infantility and increase the motivation of students of specialty "computer sciences" of the building education in civil engeneering

Abstract

Purpose. The purpose of this article is to search for and develop measures to strengthen the connection of IT education with a special education on the example of a construction institution and specific tasks of building dynamics.Methodology. Pedagogical methods of Montessori, Sukhomlinsky schools are being developed in the work. Pedagogy of cooperation develops on a volunteer basis for the work of a circle of students, describes the style of classes and gives practical advice on the activation of students in solving numerically different important problems of linear and nonlinear dynamics of buildings and structures. Software complexes with the finite element method, as well as the Maple, MathLab, and MathCAD systems are used. A method of elements, subsystems and sets of properties (MESASP) is being improved. Findings. The list of modern complex results is given - special ways and ways of working with students on the dynamics of structures in the theoretical and experimental plan. A number of organizational recommendations are given to increase motivation and reduce the infantilism of students. Originality. The scientific and patent novelty of techniques and scientific achievements is confirmed by the successful defense of the authors of many dissertations (all qualification levels) and inventions. And the fidelity of the proposed pedagogical methods is based on their constant approbation when working with students and the youth circle for 40 years. Practical value. The results of research on rational forms of activization of students are constantly reported to scientific and public (public association "Open Knowledge") meetings. Graduates of such groups themselves become excellent engineers and actively transfer achievements to universities, schools, construction organizations.
