Hardening of concrete with hexamethylene diisocyanate impregnation

Abstract

Short impregnation of concrete with hexamethylene diisocyanate does not lead to an increase in its strength due to diffusion of the monomer from microcracks and through pores into the fine-porous region. The calibrated micropores of concrete with nanoparticles of molecular size make it possible to exclude this phenomenon and provide a sharp increase in the strength of impregnated concrete.
