Abstract

In this paper, the structure of the multicomponent highly entropy alloy CoCrCuFeNiSnx (x = 0.5, 1) in the cast and liquid-quenched (cooling rate ~ 106 K s-1) states was first studied. Simultaneous formation of two solid solutions in the structure was established. High values of microhardness and dislocation density in liquid-quenched samples are obtained.
