Abstract

Abstract. Purpose. To develop an innovative project for the construction of eco-settlements and public facilities, combined with small biogas plants, it is necessary to solve a number of issues. When solving the tasks of a combination of small biogas plants, there are such requirements that must be solved to ensure the safe and economically expedient operation of plants. At the same time, it is necessary to consider the task of combining plants and maximizing effective and stable solutions. For local installations located in the zone of public places, we will consider the task of safe operation with the following criteria: absence of odors and gases, compact overall dimensions of the installation, installation of equipment on which capital costs depend. The article is devoted to the definition of design parameters of the biogas plant and its operation parameters for optimization of operation. Methodology. To find solutions for the disposal of solid domestic waste (MSW), municipal sewage, sludge from waste water, fallen leaves, etc. It was suggested to use small biogas plants, maximally economical, compact, economical, ecological and efficient. Findings. The proposed solutions serve for further calculations of economic feasibility for specific facilities, preserving natural resources and reducing methane emissions into the atmosphere, and are recommended for use in the construction of public facilities. Originality. The article gives examples of solutions to the optimal parameters of small biogas plants in public places and eco-settlements, which are carried out according to two criteria, simultaneously contradict each other. The results of this decision will improve the ecological situation since according to recent studies, methane from the agrarian and food sectors is harmful to the greenhouse effect of carbon dioxide. Practical value.  For the design of small biogas plants, combined with public institutions and eco-settlements, it is necessary to find the optimal ratio between capital and operating costs. when searching for optimal solutions for this system of processing biological valuable resources, it is necessary to find answers to the following questions: raw materials for the operation of the plant; safety of the installation near public facilities; climate adaptability. the answers to these and other questions are proposed in this paper. The results of solving these tasks will provide a positive effect for the entire project of construction of eco-villages, public facilities, solving the problems of the energy crisis and recycling energy-potential wastes.
