The inclusion of transit traffic on city streets with the purpose of increase of ecological safety of the population living

Abstract

Abstract. Objective. Assessment of the dynamics of the estimated parameters of the equivalent sound level and the concentration of co, while the diversion of transit traffic from the city. Methodology. The application of a systematic approach to the analysis of problems and existing techniques for accounting for the impact of road transport on the ecological safety of the modern city in terms of noise and gas pollution of exhaust gases. Results. The obtained value of the increase of the equivalent noise on the highways and city traffic with the passage of transit traffic. This value (0.6 dBА) not affect the estimated grade of the noise mode main streets. However, the calculation of the increase in the concentration of exhaust gas on the main street (3,77 mg/m3) with consideration of transit vehicles, leads to a transition of the considered trunk in a more dangerous class of contamination. Scientific novelty. First, on the basis of theoretical calculations shows the change in noise characteristics of arterial streets in the city and determined the value of the increase of the concentration of exhaust gases for the same roads, given the traffic of transit transport in the Dnieper.
