Hereditary modification of secondary aluminum alloys

Abstract

Annotation. Purpose. Increase of mechanical properties of secondary aluminum alloys AK7ch and A356.2. Development of resource-saving technologies of recycling of the alloys. Methodology. Material for this study were AK7ch and A356.2 alloys. Part of charge was the fine-crystalline remelt produced by cooling of liquid metal at temperature 720°С in water at temperature 20°С. Experimental melting with different composition of initial charge, different modification and iron content was carried out in the electrical resistance furnace. Control structure and mechanical properties was performed on samples prepared in accordance with GOST 1497-84 after heat treatment T6 mode. Findings. Studies conducted shown applicating complex modification and heredity can increases mechanical properties of secondary aluminum alloys. Originality. Influence of strength limit, elongation and hardness from modification complex and quantity of fine-crystalline remelt in initial charge. Practical value. Offered results may be used complex technology recycling secondary raw material to order high-quality castings in industry.
