Application of three-dimensional modeling in modern cad for research of technological processes of building machines of manipulative tipe

Abstract

Raising of problem. Nowadays curb stones (CS) laying is a process with very high part of manual labor. Due to low labor productivity and low speed of CS mounting along the roadway, investigation of manipulative equipment application possibility for these works is relevant

Purpose. By using 3D-modeling in modern CAD to perform research curbstones mounting technology using manipulative equipment (ME) with gripping working body on various basic machines and to confirm its operation capacity in the design phase already.

Conclusion. Research of work process of the manipulative equipment for laying curbstones using bulk solid models in CAD by single piece motion of individual elements of three-dimensional model relative to each other allows for the conclusion about the operability of developed articulated structures of the manipulative equipment. ME based on crawler tractor should be recognized as effective in the construction of new roads for installation of CS before laying the top layer of asphalt pavement, ME on the basis of the truck should be recognized as effective in the construction and reconstruction of roads when the installation of CS is conducted under the conditions of already laid asphalt pavement, and replaceable gripping work equipment based on the compact wheel loader can be used effectively in the limited conditions of small construction sites of dense urban areas.
